Local guide

In Norman's mix of houses and apartments, distance is the common issue: the router at one end, the TV at the other. A mesh node or powerline adapter fixes it. You pay once for the plan length you choose; nothing renews on its own, and you have 7 days to ask for a refund.

Getting set up in Norman

Activation runs over WhatsApp: order, pay, and the credentials follow in around 60 seconds. Install a player on the TV you use most: TiviMate on a Fire TV or Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple TV, or an app such as IBO Player on Samsung and LG TVs. Sign in, and the channel list loads in a minute or two.

Getting the TV guide right

Set the device to Central time and the guide lines up with what's on air in Norman. Catch-up helps with the rest: anything that aired earlier in another time zone, up to 7 days back on supported channels, can be played from the start.

How much internet you need

Norman: How much internet you need

  • One HD stream: about 10 Mbps
  • One 4K stream: about 25 Mbps
  • Two or three TVs: add each stream together, plus headroom for phones and laptops
  • Wi-Fi: 5 GHz near the TV, or Ethernet
  • A plan plays on one screen at a time as standard, and one order can cover up to 3 screens at once

Three things to check first

Norman: Three things to check first

  • Keep the 7-day money-back guarantee in mind: test on every TV you plan to use during the first week.
  • Decide which TV gets the main player and whether a stick or the built-in apps make more sense.
  • Check that the device clock is on Central time so the guide lines up.
  • Run a speed test on the TV or stick itself, in the evening, when your area is busiest.
