Setup guide

Bob Pro is a paid app; its fee goes to the developer, separately from your IPTV plan. The onn. Google TV 4K Box decodes 4K, so 4K feeds play at full resolution on a 4K screen. If it doesn't suit you, the 7-day money-back guarantee applies, and because plans are prepaid there's nothing to cancel later.

  • Give the first sync a couple of minutes, then hide the groups you never use and favorite the rest.

Small tweaks, smoother playback

Bob Pro on onn. Google TV 4K Box: Small tweaks, smoother playback

  • Turn on frame-rate matching in the box's display settings so 60fps sports don't judder.
  • Set the output resolution to match the TV; a 4K signal on a 1080p TV just adds work.
  • Use the Ethernet port if your box has one.
  • Guide refresh: set the EPG to update daily so listings never run out.

The first time you open it

Expect a short wait on first sign-in while Bob Pro downloads the playlist and guide. Then you'll see channel groups by category and country; open one, highlight a channel, and the guide shows what's on now and next.
