News

i24NEWS is a news channel, built around breaking coverage, rolling daytime news and the prime-time hours built around big anchors. Send your order on WhatsApp and the connection details for your device come back in roughly 60 seconds. You pay once for the plan length you choose; nothing renews on its own, and you have 7 days to ask for a refund.

i24NEWS: the essentials

i24NEWS: the essentials Checklist

  • Where to find it: the News group in your channel list
  • Picture: HD as standard, 4K on feeds where the broadcaster supplies it
  • Guide: now-and-next listings from an EPG that covers about 99% of channels
  • Catch-up: up to 7 days back where the channel supports it
  • Price: part of every plan, from $10.42/month on the yearly option

Getting more out of i24NEWS

Getting more out of i24NEWS Checklist

  • The guide lists program titles, so you can jump straight to a specific show.
  • Election nights and major events pull heavy traffic; a wired connection keeps the picture steady.
  • Use catch-up for the evening show you missed; it's quicker than hunting for clips online.
  • Keep the player app updated; guide and playback fixes arrive through updates.

How it looks once you sign in

Once you sign in, the player sorts channels into groups. i24NEWS sits under News; typing the first few letters into search gets you there faster than scrolling. The guide row shows what's on now and what's next, and a long press on the channel (or the menu button, depending on the app) adds it to favorites.

Up and running in about five minutes

Pick a plan on the pricing page and order on WhatsApp; the login arrives in about 60 seconds. Install a player such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro (on Samsung and LG TVs, an app like IBO Player). Enter the server URL, username and password, and i24NEWS shows up with the rest of the News group.

Same group, same login

If i24NEWS is on your list, NBC News Now, HLN, TRT World, and Bloomberg TV probably belong there too. Every IPTV Strong 8K plan carries them at no extra cost.

Quick fixes for common problems

i24NEWS: Quick fixes for common problems

  • Plays for a minute, then freezes: run a speed test on the TV itself. Under about 25 Mbps, choose the HD version of the channel instead of 4K.
  • "Authorization failed": re-enter the login exactly as sent, including http:// and the port in the server URL.
  • Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.

FAQ

Questions About i24NEWS

Not covered here? Send it on WhatsApp and a person on the support desk will answer, any hour of the day.

Is i24NEWS included in every IPTV Strong 8K plan?

Yes. All 4 plans carry i24NEWS along with the rest of the 32,000+ channels. Nothing is priced channel by channel, so there's no add-on to buy.

What internet speed does i24NEWS need?

Budget 10 Mbps per HD screen and 25 Mbps per 4K screen, then add headroom for everyone else online. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture steady when the rest of the house is online.

Does i24NEWS show up in the TV guide?

The lineup's EPG covers about 99% of channels, so i24NEWS normally shows the current program, its end time and what's next. If listings look off, check the time zone on your device.

Can I watch i24NEWS on my phone away from home?

Yes. Install the same player on your phone and sign in with the same details. Up to 3 screens can play at once on one plan; on the 12-month length, two screens cost $200 in total instead of $125.

Can I watch i24NEWS on a TV without a cable box?

Yes. Any device that runs an IPTV player will do: Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, smart TVs from Samsung and LG, phones and computers. Roku is the odd one out because it can't install Android apps, so Roku owners usually mirror from a phone or add a streaming stick.
