Tips for watching Stingray Hits

Tips for watching Stingray Hits Checklist

  • The on-demand library adds full concert films and music documentaries.
  • Run the TV audio through a soundbar or receiver; music channels are where better sound pays off.
  • Music video blocks make good background TV for a party; favorites keep them one click away.
  • Keep the player app updated; guide and playback fixes arrive through updates.

How it looks once you sign in

Expect a grid: categories down the left, channels in the middle, guide data on the right. Stingray Hits lives in the Music category. Pin it to favorites and it appears on the first screen every time you open the app, ahead of the thousands of channels you'll never need to scroll past.

Same group, same login

Same login, same group: MTV, MTV2, CMT Music, and MTV Live. Nothing in the IPTV Strong 8K lineup is sold separately, so add whichever you like to favorites.

Troubleshooting Stingray Hits

Troubleshooting Stingray Hits Checklist

  • Sound but no picture: switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
  • Spinning wheel, then nothing: switch to another channel and back. If others play and Stingray Hits doesn't, refresh the playlist from the player settings.
  • "Authorization failed": re-enter the login exactly as sent, including http:// and the port in the server URL.

FAQ

Questions About Stingray Hits

Not covered here? Send it on WhatsApp and a person on the support desk will answer, any hour of the day.

Is Stingray Hits included in every IPTV Strong 8K plan?

Yes. All 4 plans carry Stingray Hits along with the rest of the 32,000+ channels. Nothing is priced channel by channel, so there's no add-on to buy.

How fast can I be watching Stingray Hits after I order?

Usually within ten minutes. WhatsApp delivers the login in about 60 seconds; installing a player and signing in takes the rest.

Can I watch Stingray Hits on a TV without a cable box?

Yes. Any device that runs an IPTV player will do: Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, smart TVs from Samsung and LG, phones and computers. Roku is the odd one out because it can't install Android apps, so Roku owners usually mirror from a phone or add a streaming stick.

What internet speed does Stingray Hits need?

Plan on about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture steady when the rest of the house is online.

Can I restart a show on Stingray Hits that already began?

On channels that support catch-up, yes: open the guide, go back to the program and play it from the start. Catch-up reaches up to 7 days back.
