FAQ

Questions About The Film Detective

Not covered here? Send it on WhatsApp and a person on the support desk will answer, any hour of the day.

Is The Film Detective included in every IPTV Strong 8K plan?

Yes. All 4 plans carry The Film Detective along with the rest of the 32,000+ channels. Nothing is priced channel by channel, so there's no add-on to buy.

What internet speed does The Film Detective need?

Plan on about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture steady when the rest of the house is online.

Can I watch The Film Detective on a TV without a cable box?

Yes. Any device that runs an IPTV player will do: Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Apple TV, smart TVs from Samsung and LG, phones and computers. Roku is the odd one out because it can't install Android apps, so Roku owners usually mirror from a phone or add a streaming stick.

Can I restart a show on The Film Detective that already began?

On channels that support catch-up, yes: open the guide, go back to the program and play it from the start. Catch-up reaches up to 7 days back.

How fast can I be watching The Film Detective after I order?

Usually within ten minutes. WhatsApp delivers the login in about 60 seconds; installing a player and signing in takes the rest.
