  • In Plex Media Server, open Settings > Live TV & DVR, choose Set up Plex DVR, select Threadfin as the tuner (type its address if Plex does not find it), and match the guide.
  • Open Plex on the PlayStation 4, choose Live TV and pick a channel from the guide.

Plex takes a few minutes to scan the tuner and match the guide. After that, Live TV appears in the Plex app on the PlayStation 4, with a guide grid by channel number.

  • A channel won't tune: another stream may be using the last tuner; stop it, or raise the tuner count in Threadfin up to your plan's screens.
  • Channels missing: map them in Threadfin, then rescan channels in the Plex DVR settings.
  • No guide data: refresh the XMLTV source in Threadfin, then refresh the guide in Plex.
